Creating Homes with History and Heart

Morgan is a home decor and lifestyle content creator who finds joy in creating spaces that feel warm, personal, and lived in.

Project Location: Coconut Creek, Florida USA
Product Type: Phantom Door Screens with Mesh Lock

Meet Morgan

Morgan’s love for home began at a young age, watching her parents restore a 1900s farmhouse. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals, Morgan also developed a deep love for the outdoors and gardening – an appreciation for nature that continues to shape her style and approach today. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for transformation, character-rich homes, vintage pieces with a story, and the small, thoughtful details that make a house a home. That passion eventually led her to renovate her own little fixer-upper – documenting the process and sharing the journey along the way.

Whether she’s tackling a new project, styling a space by mixing old and new, refinishing furniture, enjoying the outdoors, or simply savoring moments at home with her pup and family, Morgan draws inspiration from the beauty of everyday life.

About the Project

Her Home: Morgan’s home is a stunning blend of minimalism and aesthetic style. Upon entering, you’re immediately welcomed into the main living area, which opens up to a spacious patio door, an ideal location for one of our retractable screens. This big door seamlessly connects with her primary gathering space, the living room, and the kitchen, where Morgan loves to cook delicious meals. Just beside the kitchen, the dining room serves as another favorite spot for hosting friends and family. To Morgan, these areas represent the heart of her home, and by extension, the patio door acts as a crucial gateway to another cozy living space where they spend countless hours together.

Need: Morgan needed retractable screens for both of her patio doors. She enjoys having these doors open to let in the fresh breeze, but she also wants to ensure that pesky bugs, like lizards, don’t wander inside. Additionally, her adorable dog, Mia, loves to go outside, making it essential to maintain a bug-free environment while keeping the doors accessible for her furry friend.

Solution: This is where American Screen Solutions stepped in. Their team first visited to measure the doors, capture photos, and address all of Morgan’s questions. They guided her through the entire process step by step. A few weeks later, they returned to install the screens professionally. After installation, they demonstrated how to keep the screens clean and ensure they slide smoothly. Morgan chose a sleek black color to complement her siding door, and the result is a beautiful blend that enhances the overall look of her home.
